The Latest

So many of you inquired about my latest hair doo! I’m excited to share with you my journey. I started to get hair color fever late June/ early July, so I decided to grow my hair out. Not really sure what color I was going for or how it would be styled but I knew I wanted something different (especially for the relocation). Once September began my hair looked like this….

… A little Afro. I did not get a haircut or tapered throughout those months, I only used organic extra virgin cocoanut oil (from The Whole Foods Market, YES what you use in the kitchen!!) and for conditioner, I used mayo with egg white once a week for 20-30 minutes (I know it may seem crazy but these kitchen materials have plenty of nutrients that can boost you hair growth). That length was more than enough for me as well as it being nice and FULL :).

A very good friend of mine asked me to revamp his closet/daily appearance and wanted to know some of my thoughts on where to shop; especially for his body physique.

1.) Zara: unisex clothing store, with a European flair

2.) Banana Republic: unisex clothing store with an American edge.

3.) Jack Spade: mens clothing store, brother store of Kate Spade; corky yet fashion-forward store

4.) Gap: unisex clothing store, classic image you can never go wrong!

5.) Men’s Wearhouse: mens clothing store, great source for suits, slacks, button up shirts for all physiques.

I picked these 5 favorite men’s clothing store as my favorite for the topic of revamping my friends closet. He wants to step outside of his comfort zone, and have a little flavor to his wardrobe. These selections will not be overbearing for him (in my opinion) to mold into his new look.

Other selections I would suggest:

JC Penny

Ralph Lauren

Uniqloo

Nordstrom

Macy’s

H&M

Express

Ross

Old Navy

Lord & Taylor

Neiman Marcus

Barney’s

Coach

Elton’s mens wear

I am currently doing something new, growing the middle portion of mi hair out but using home remedies that you find in your kitchen! These past 5 weeks I have been giving myself hot oil treatments twice a week using mayo, safflower oil (warming it up in the microwave for 20 seconds) and squeezing the juices out of a strawberry. Mi curls are turning out so pretty and I am so in love and excited with out its going to look when the curls get LONGER…

Stay tuned for upcoming styles…..
